OFFICIAL: Joel Obi leaves Chievo Verona for Alanyaspor on loan

Nigeria skifull midfilder Joel Obi has ended speculation about his future after penning
a contract with Turkish clubside Alanyaspor on deadline day, BSNSports reports.

The Turkish club side disclosed that Obi has inked a loan move until end of season with an option for a further season.

“Obviously this is one of the best clubs in the world, the team has a great history and
a good football mentality.” Obi disclosed exclusively to BSNSports.

The 28-year-old midfielder, so far this season Obi has appeared in 11 matches for Chievo in the Italian Serie A.

The versatile cum midfielder was a member of the Super Eagles squad at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Obi is line to make his competitive debut for alanyaspor against Turkish giants on Galatasaray on February 2.
