Ofoedu demands 250,000 euros to join Bnei Yehuda

Ofoedu
Nigerian striker Chikeluba Ofoedu has demanded 250,000 euros (approximately N133.8 million) for the rest of the 2019-2020 season to join Israeli Premier League side Bnei Yehuda, BSNSports.com.ng reports.   One.co.li reports that the former Enugu Rangers star claims he has another offer from an unnamed club in Egypt that would see him pocket 250,000 euros in his first season and 300,000 euros the following season.

However, Ofeodu for his part is positively considering returning to Israel and is well acquainted with life in Tel Aviv and this desire, along with the need to return to playing football soon, may well reduce the gaps between the parties, perhaps through options to extend the contract, bonuses and the like.

Bnei Yehuda said of the negotiations with the Nigerian: "If Chico reaches our numbers then there is a chance he will join." Will be able to go beyond their framework.

Ofeodu has had stints with Eskisehirspor, Samsunspor, Karsiyaka and 1461 Trabzonand Maccabi Tel Aviv.
