Ogun State Football Association's Election Comes Up in June

The Ogun State Football Association has confirmed that the Elective congress into its board will now hold on the 4th of June, 2019.

A change in date was necessary sequel to the directive of the Nigeria Football Federation, which mandated State Football Association's across the country to put their houses in order before holding the congress.

The change in date decision was unanimously reached at the Emergency Congress in Abeokuta on Monday.

The Ogun FA congress also agreed that the Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi led board will continue to steer the affairs of the state's football ruling body until the elective congress comes up.

Meanwhile, a one-minute silence was observed for the passing away of former NFF chieftain and Osun FA Chairman, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi whose news of his sudden demise broke while the state emergency congress was still on.
