Okechukwu hits target as Rizespor beat Abdulahi's Bursaspor

Former Nigeria U23 captain, Azubuike Okechukwu scored the second goal for Rizespor in their Turkish Super Lig 2-0 win against Bursaspor on Saturday, BsnSports.com.ng can report.

Four Nigeria players were in action on in the week 22 of Turkish Super League as Bursaspor play host to Rizespor.

The trio of Chidozie Awaziem, Azubuike Okechukwu and Aminu Umar started the game for Rizespor while Shehu Abdulahi played a substitute.

Aatif Chahechouhe put the visitors ahead in the 12th minute before Azubuike Okechukwu increased the tally in the 78th minute.

Defender Awaziem was cautioned in 29th minutes and played the whole duration of the game alongside scorer Okechukwu.

Umar was replaced in the 76th minutes by Samu.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles defender returned to the Bursaspor team after being out for more than 3 months due to injury.

He was introduced in the 35th minutes for injured Yusuf Erdogan.
