Okiemute Odah Extends Clean Sheet Record To 5 In Albukirya 1-0 Win

Former Plateau United and Golden Eaglets goalkeeper Okiemute Odah has increased his clean sheet record to five in yesterday's Albukiryah FC 1-0 win over Ohod Football Club at the Al-Amal Club Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

With the win, Albukiryah maintained their fourth position on the log with 22 points in 13 matches, one points behind Al-Thuqba who placed 3rd with 23 points and 6 behind the table toppers, Al-Ain FC who have 26.

Odah who has been in superlative form this season is confident that the team is determined and focused to pick the promotion ticket to the Professional league.

Speaking from his base in Saudi, the former Golden Eaglets goalkeeper said, "The team management, coaches and players focused on the promotion ticket. From the beginning of the season, it is the club's objective to gain promotion and that is why we put in everything to make sure we close the gap between the clubs ahead of us on the log."

Okiemute who recorded his fifth clean sheet on Wednesday added that he is happy to be part of the team's history as they look forward to pick the promotion ticket.
