Okobi happy to sign contract extension with Eskiltuna United

Super Falcons of Nigeria defender Ngozi Okobi is still in cloud nine after she signed a contract extension with the Swedish Damallsvenkan side Eskiltuna United.

The skilful midfielder joined Eskiktuna in 2018 from a club rival Vittsjo in 2018 after showing amazing performance.

The player who was part of Super Falcons tea. To FIFA Women World Cup in France was excited after the deal was agreed and she also hailed the Nugeria women team outing at the competition.

' For me there was no alternative but to extend with Eskiktuna United, I enjoyed the city very well it is the right place for me, much quieter than the big cities and chaos that I am used to in Nigeria.

I also enjoy the club which gives me the conditions to constantly develop. We had a fantastic summer and fall when we went from the bottom. To a medal, it was my first medal in Sweden, which am proud of.

We worked hard together and it produced results. 2019 season is one of my best season in Sweden when we also moved for. The group stage at the world cup to knockout stage, I hope 2020 will be better, she conclude.
