  Okoye Eyes English Premiership Deal By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles and Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has reiterated his intention to play in the glamorous league in the world, the English Premier League, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The 21-year old shot stopper moved to the Dutch Eredivisie side, Sparta Rotterdam, this summer from the German league side, Fortuna Dusserdolf. Okoye started the season as a second choice in the league, following his superb performance he becomes the team's first choice after 6 matches. "My future is in the back of my head. I think, no, I know the Premier League is my favorite league. "But the front of my head tells me to show it first here at Sparta," he told rijnmond. Okoye was in goal for Nigeria's Super Eagles in the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone. He signed a 2-year deal with Sparta Rotterdam with an option of extension.
