Okpotu Emerges Tunisia League MVP

After a scintillating season in the Tunisia domestic competitions, Nigeria international and US Monastir striker, Anthony Okpotu, has been named the most valuable player in the league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Lobi Stars player left the country few years ago after emerging the top scorer of the Nigeria Professional Football League with 19 goals.

Okpotu's 13 goals helped US Monastir qualified for CAF COnfederation cup after finishing third in the league.

Okpotu emerged top scorer in the league and also helped the club to its first domestic title, beating the League Champions, Espearance 2-0.

It remained unseen if Okpotu will stay with Monastir following Esperance bid for the striker earlier in the season.
