Olakunle Fires Hat trick On Debut
By Sampson Adedeji
It was a good start for Nigeria junior international Olakunle Olusegun as he fired hat trick in his first match in the colour of Fremad Amager, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The youngster was confirmed to have joined the club on Tuesday afternoon and was thrown into action straight away as the team hope to redeem its battered image.
Amager was thrashed 1-5 by Lyngby last weekend and victory is required to regain the confidence of fans.
Amager was the guest of B.1908 in the Danish Division one clash and it was Olakunle that opened the scorer sheet in the 8th minute before he netted the second goal in the 38th minute and ensured that Amager returned to the locker room with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
The Nigeria lad completed his hat trick in the 68th minute before host reduced the tally and ended the game 1-3.
Olakunle was outstanding for Nigeria at the FIFA U17 World cup in Brazil despite crashing out in the second round.
