Olowookere Leads Flamingos To First Win In A Friendly

Nigeria's U17 women national team, Flamingos, on Friday morning defeated Mees Palace U13 Boys 3-2 in a warm-up game at the FIFA Goal Project, Package B, Moshood Aboola Stadium, Abuja.

Osun Babes forward, Yemisi Samuel's brace was enough for the Nigeria national team to outscore the football academy in a close contested match.

Kelechi Chukwumalem scored the third goal while Mees Palace reduced the tally to end the Flamingos first match 3-2.

Olowookere Bankole who was appointed by the NFF on Monday as stand-in-coach of the Flamingos will for the meantime prepare the national team for the World Cup qualifier against Guinea on 28th February, 2020
