Onazi happy to be back for Trabzonspor

Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Ogenyi Onazi expressed his happiness to God for return to action after a long stay in the treatment room.

The energetic player was i hired in a league match against Rizespor almost year ago and the injury also denied him the opportunity of representing Iberia in the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt, BSN reports

He made his return last week Thursday in the UEFA Europa League against Basel.

Onazi was again played for 14 minutes on Thursday when Trabzonspor defeated Altay 4-1 in the Turkish Cup.

“I thank God for being be able to go back to football and play again. It is impossible to reach top form immediately. It is not an easy process,”Onazi said after the game

He also expected to be in action this weekend when the league resume.
