Onazi injured, to undergo suggery on Monday, doubtful for AFCON 2019

The hope of Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi to help his Turkey Super League Trabzonspor to capture trophy in the ongoing season has been thrown into serious doubt.

Onazi who has been one of the outstanding player for the club this season, was stretched out on Sunday in their league clash against Rizespor after he ruptured his Achilles.

The player was diagnosed on sunday to know the extent of the injury and his confirmed by the club for surgery in the capital city Instabul on Monday.

With the confirmation from the club that Onazi may play again this season means the player remain doubtful for AFCON 2019, that will take place mid 2019.
