Onazi, Nwakaeme Out For Three Weeks

After sustaining injuries in the last match for their respective clubs, medics in Turkey have revealed that the duo of Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi and striker Anthony Nwakaeme will spend at least three weeks each in the treatment room.

Onazi picked an injury in the last league game when Denizlispor suffered a 1-0 defeat to Sivasspor, while Nwakaeme was substituted in the semi final of Turkey Cup when Tranzonspor thrashed Fenerbahce 3-1, BSN Sports reports.

The medical department of Denizlispor confirmed that Onazi will be out for 2 - 3 weeks, while Tranzonspor doctor ruled out Nwakaeme for 3 weeks.

Onazi signed an 18 months deal with Denizlispor during the winter transfer window in January while Nwakaeme has been an outstanding player for the club since he joined from Hapoel Be'er Sheva in Isreal.

Before his injury worry Onazi has been an Integra part of Super Eagles while Nwakaeme has only played for Nigeria once.
