Ondo Auto Rally to get Underway on Friday - Organisers (Work and Play)

It's that time of the year Armchair enthusiasts can look forward to another exciting moment to witness Motor Sports event at it's best when top drivers and fastest cars in Africa all converges in the layout circuits of Ondo State to compete for honours and the huge cash prizes at stake at the third edition of Ondo Auto Rally billed for Nov. 8th - 9th 2019.

Organised by Work and Play, fast growing Motor Sports Organisers in Africa under the Leadership of top entrepreneur and Industrialist in the country, Chief Micheal Ade Ojo, who confirmed the minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola will not only grace this year's event but will also be joining in the race tracks alongside the executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Olurotimi Akeredolu.

Participants, sponsors, guests and Observers should expect their razzmatazz to be filled up to the brim with several other events and side attractions been lined up to add glamour to the occasion.

Wuraola Golf memorial tournament will run side by side with other events at the Smokin Hills Golf Club in Illara Mokin while the Idanre Hiking Challenge and drifting session has also been included.

While restating his bid to continue promoting Sports tourism and all round development in Ondo State, Chief Micheal Ade disclosed that International flavour will be added to this years championship with with live broadcast from Nigeria to the rest of Africa and Worldwide.

"Hosting the Ondo Auto Rally will induce tourism and opens up the city of Illara Mokin to new Audiences and also show case the beauty of the ancient city to tourists from all over the globe causing a massive boost in tourism and hospitality that translates revenue earnings in foreign exchange for the state and country at Large". He said.
