Onuachu Returns To Action For RKC Genk, As Dessers Open Goal Account

Pre-season matches continue in the Belgium Jupiler League on Friday afternoon, As RKC Genk thrashed visiting Excelsior 4-1, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Three Nigeria Internationals were in action for Genk, the duo of Stephen Odey and Paul Onuachu started the game while the newly recruited Cyril Dessers started from the bench.

Onuachu who just recovered from the Coronavirus led the attack against Excelsior and was able to assist in one of the goal.

Bongonda opened the scoring in the 6th minute before netted the second goal from the spot in the 35th minute, Excelsior halved the scores in the 76th minute through Omarrson but Neto Borge restored Genk 2 goal lead .

Dessers who was introduced in the later part of the game completed the rout as he scored the 4th goal in the 88th minute of game.

Dessers joined Genk from the Dutch Eredivisie side Heracles Armelo thus summer after emerging top scorer in the league.
