Onyekuru Shines As Galatasaray Are Turkish Cup Champion By Niyi Busari Super Eagles striker, Henry Onyekuru helped Galatasaray to win its 8th Turkish Cup after defeating Akhisar Beledhiyospor 1-3. Onyekuru broke the deadlock in the 11th minute but was ruled offside by the center referee, Suat Arslanboga. The first stanza ended goalless as both sides were unable to break each other's defense. The Everton loanee, was unlucky to put his side ahead in the 51st minute as his shot hit the goalpost before the ball landed in Akhisar keeper, Fatih Ozturk's hand. Six minutes later, Elvis Manu put Akhisar Belediyespor ahead as he scored off Guray Vural assist. Sinan Gumus scored in the 80th minute from the spot to bring the game into parity. Feghouli strike in the 88th minute put Galatasaray at the driving seat before Mbaye Diagne completed the route in the 90th minute to make it 3-1. Galatasaray have not won the Turkish Cup for the 18th time.
