Oparanozie Focus On New Season With Dijon

Nigeria's Super Falcons former striker and captain Desire Oparanozie is already exhuming confidence as the new season of the women French Ligue beckons, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Oparanozie departed Avante Guingamp in June after spending 6 years with the club for and joined another French side Dijon in July.

As leagues set to resume in France, Oparanozie hope is present fitness will propel her into the new season as club set to get back for preseason.

"Throughout years of my career, I have never been more confident going into pre-season as much as I am this time.

Maybe because I never stopped working out,” she said.

Oparanozie is expected to be in action for Dijon on August 21st when they face FC Paris in the season opener.
