Oparanozie Makes Super Falcons Return Ahead of Aisha Buhari Cup

Ahead of the coming Aisha Buhari's Cup and all important African Women Cup of Nations qualifier against Black Queen of Ghana, head coach of Nigeria's Super Falcons Randy Waldrum has rolled out a list 27 players for training camp in Austria, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
Notable among the players is former team skipper Desire Oparanozie who has been out of the team since 2019 FIFA Women World Cup.
Ini Umotong, who impressed with English Championship side Lewes ladies, and striker Ebere Orji, who has been in good form with Swedish side Sundsvall DFF in recent also staged a comeback.
Leicester City defender Ashleigh Plumptre, Adekite Fatuga-Dada of Watford and Swedish born Hackens' sisters duo of Josphine and Evelyn Ijeh - duaghters of former Nigeria international Peter Ijeh, were foreign-born players who were newly invited.
Missing from the team is captain Asisat Oshoala who was left out for unknown reasons.
The team will set out on 8-day training program for the fast approaching Aisha Buhari Cup slated for September.
Ghana's Black Queens, Cameroon's Indomitable Lionesses, Banyana Banyana of South Africa, Morocco and Mali are the other teams that will take part in the six-nation tournament in Lagos.
