Oshoala's FC Barcelona Femenino Emerge Iberdrola Champions By Sampson Adedeji Despite not selected to play in the league game, Sunday was a sweet day for Nigeria's Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala as her Spanish Iberdrola side FC Barcelona Femenino emerged the champions of the league for 6th consecutive times, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The former Rivers Angels attacker was absent on Sunday as Barcelona defeated Granadila Tenerife 1-0 with Bruna Vilamala scoring the only goal. They were confirmed champions after UD Levante Femenino could only secure 1-1 draw against Espanyol. Barcelona recorded an emphatic 26 wins in 26 matches to be crowned champions of the league. She has 15 goals in 21 league games and currently placed 4th position in the top scorers table. Oshoala will hope to be back next weekend when Barcelona face Chelsea in the final of the UEFA Women Champions League final.
