Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen continues to make name for himself in the French Ligue One as he received another award on Sunday.

Last Wednesday, Osimhen scored Lille only goal in their 1-2 home loss to English Premier league side Chelsea in the UEFA champions league, BSN reports

Victor Osimhen was named Lille player of the month for September and was awarded before he secured a point for the club against Nimes.

Lille trails visitors Nimes in the keenly contested encounter before Osimhen netted an equalizer in the 80th minute and ended the game at 2-2.

Next stop for Osimhen is Super Eagles camp ahead of the international friendly match against Brazil slated for Singapore.
