Osimhen Agrees To Join Napoli As Club Hold Talks With New Agent

After much deliberations, Nigeria's Super Eagles and LOSC Lille striker Victor Osimhen has agreed to join Italia Serie A giant Napoli, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 21 year old forward visited Naples few days back to hold discussions with Napoli President and club head coach Gennaro Gatuso but nothing was agreed on then as the player requested for the time to study the deal and situations.

The Azzurri's sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is in Sardinia to discuss the wages which should be of €5 million per year before taxes and the commissions that the Nigerian's new agent will be paid after the conclusion of the deal.

Holding a meeting was deemed necessary to discuss with Osimhen new agents and to prevent other clubs trying to hijack the deal.

Now the parties have to settle the economics of the deal, however Napoli are confident that this step could be completed soon.

Napoli will meet with his agent and lay out the questions of the commissions to the representatives and the player's salary.

Finally, the club will complete the deal with Lille on the basis €50 million plus €10 million add -ons included.

His former club, Charleroi, will get 15% of the transfer fee in virtue of a clause included in the agreement between the Belgian club and Lille in 2019.
