Osimhen Handed 14-day Deadline To Decide Lille Future

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has been handed a two-week deadline to decide whether he is staying or moving away from his French club, Lille, according to a recent report in La Voix du Nord.

Osimhen has been receiving offers from different top European club with Italia Serie A clubs showing more interest. The French Ligue 1 club, Lille placed a €50m price-tag on the Eagles forward and will need to sort out the player’s future in the coming weeks.

Osimhen has been the revelation of the Ligue 1 season after scoring 18 goals and 6 assists in all competitions, following his 12m euro move from Charleroi in Belgium.

For several months, Lille President Gérard Lopez has indicated his desire to keep the player unless there is an impossible offer the club cannot resist.

The report also indicated that the youngster is against moving to Italy.
