Osimhen Scores 2nd UCL Goal In Lille Loss As Olayinka Shines In Camp Nou
Victor Osimhen was on target but ended on the losing side as Lille fell to a 4-1 defeat to Spanish Lalig side Valencia in their UEFA Champions League Group H clash at the Estadio de Mestalla on Tuesday night.
Osimhen put Lille ahead in the 25th minute, but the hosts rallied back with four goals in the second half to snatch all three points in the game.
The 20-year-old has now scored two goals in four Champions League games for Lille this season.
In the other game in the group, Chelsea rallied back from three goals down to drew 4-4 at home against last season semi-finalists, Ajax
At the Camp Nou, Peter Olayinka put up an impressive performance in Slavia Prague’s 0-0 draw against Barcelona.
Olayinka who was a thorn in the flesh of Barcelona defenders in the game , has scored one goal in four appearances in the competition for the Czech Republic champions .
Paul Onuachu played for just five minutes in KRC Genk 2-1 away loss to Liverpool in Anfield.
The forward replaced Casper De Noore five minutes from time for his third appearance in the competition this season.
His compatriot, Steven Odey was not included in the matchday squad by Genk.
