Osimhen Undergoes Cardio-Vascular Test

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, underwent a cardio-vascular test at the Cardio-Thoracic centre in Monaco, Sports Extra reports.

Osimhen was stretchered off after scoring the opener in Lille’s 3-0 win over Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue on Tuesday,

His Nigerian intermediary, Ariyo Igbayiola, informed Sports Extra the move was purely precautionary and that the outcome of the test was positive.

“Victor (Osimhen) is fine now but we are not leaving anything to chance, “Igbayiola told Sports Extra.
He (Osimhen) will undergo a final round of tests on Friday morning and if these are all positive, he will return to Lille tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Sports Extra can report that the 20-year-old striker who has been sought after by top European clubs will miss Lille’s Ligue 1 clash against Monaco on Saturday.

Osimhen has scored 12 goals in 23 games across all competitions.
