Osun United Intensify Training Ahead of Nilayo Clash

After a resounding victory over Ekiti United in the first game of the ongoing Nigeria National League (NNL), Osun United have intensified their preparation for another home game against Nilayo FC of Abeokuta.

Coach Bright Omokaro (MON) who said he wasn't satisfied with the performance of his boys against Ekiti United had since begun to work on the tactical approach of breaking the wall of stubborn opponents.

Osun United will face Nilayo FC from Abeokuta on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 at the Osogbo Township Stadium and a victory for the Omoluabi Giants will make it 6 points in 2 games.

"There is nothing impossible in football. All we want is to take our chances and utilize them. Our target is to play good game and get the result. However, I appeal to the management and the government to do something before the weekend in terms of players' and technical crew's welfare", said Coach Omokaro.

Meanwhile, management of the club has assured that the teething issue as regards the kit has been resolved following the intervention of the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon Yemi Lawal.

President of the club, Chief Ademola Adesina who appreciated Honourable Lawal for his intervention and support appealed to players and technical crew that all their demands will soon be met.
