Our target is to be FCT League champions - Abraham By Amaechi Agbo Fosla Football Club striker, Abraham Solomon, has disclosed that the target of the newly registered club is to win the 2018 FCT League. Abraham who currently has three goals in his kit, disclosed this while guesting in a radio programme, Total Sports on Vision FM, Abuja, recently. The diminutive goal poacher reckoned that having been together for the past six years, the club is better prepared for the rigorous matches in the league. "It is the dream of every team to win the league. For sure, that is our target. We want to be FCT League champions. We have done it before in the FCT Principal's Cup and we can do it a gain," he stated. On the  playing style of the team which many have adjudged to be partenerd after FC Barcelona's Tiki Taka, the striker said it was the work of the coach and the players having been together for long "It is not strange to have a  pattern or style of football especially when you have a highly tactical coach and the players being together for long.  "When we played for the Principal's Cup in the FCT in the past three years and then we are together today as a club, we understand ourselves better.  "When any of our players is with the ball, he knows where to play the ball to even with his eyes closed because other players will go to the expected places to pick the ball. "So it is very easy but we owe everything to our coach and his  crew. They are wonderful and we are happy to have them. "The League is not easy. This is our first time and if you look at all the other teams, we appear to be the smallest in terms of size. But size does not play football, it is all about composure, self confidence and the ability of the players to play as a team," he said. On the organisation of the league, the striker who is a prospective Undergraduate to Nasarawa State University commended the FCT FA for a good job. "This is our debut in the league and it is wonderful. I commend the organisers. FCT League is the gateway to football development not just in the federal capital but across the country." Fosla FC had played two matches so far winning their debut match against Beautiful Tours 6-1 and defeated Destiny FC 3 -0 on the second match.  Fosla FC's next league match is on Monday, October 22, against Flomat FC. The earlier scheduled match between Fosla FC and Optimum FC for today has been indefinitely postponed.
