Paul Onuachu Is Jupiler League Player Of The Year By Sampson Adedeji Following his outstanding performance in the just-concluded Jupiler League season, Nigeria's Super Eagles and KRC Genk of Belgium striker, Paul Onuachu, has been named Player of The Year for the 2020/2021, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The lanky Nigeria international joined the Limburger in 2019 after emerging top scorer in the Danish league with FC Midjtyland . Since moving to Belgium, Onuachu has been a big hit with Genk and the just concluded season further underlined his scoring ability. Onuachu broke the long standing record of the league owned by Wesley Sonck by scoring 33 league goals and 35 in all competitions this season. He was adjudged the player of the season on Monday evening after he helped the club to second position on the league table and helped them lift Cup title. It is left to be seen if Onuachu remained with Genk beyond this summer as bigger European teams continue to press for his services.
