Peseiro Missing In Cameroon As Eagles Enter Round of 16

The Super Eagles newly acquired coach, Jose Peseiro has not arrived in Cameroon as promised by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), BSNSports.com.ng can report.
NFF in a press release after appointment of Austine Eguavoen as interim coach said the Portuguese will take over as the substantive coach after the 2021 African Nations Cup and he will be in Cameroon to monitor the team at close quarters sequel to his taking over as coach immediately after the tournament.
However, the performance of the interim coach of the senior national team of Nigeria, Austine Eguavoen who has successfully led the team to the round of 16 with three wins in three matches at the ongoing 2021 African Nations Cup in Cameroon might have affected his arrival as many football pundits, Ex-internationals, and Nigerians clamoured for the former Super Eagles captain to continue.
Meanwhile, checks by BSN Sports showed that the Portuguese who has been announced as the coach isn’t in Cameroon as said by the NFF.
The Super Eagles have won all their three group D matches with maximum 9 points and are awaiting their Round of 16 opponents in Garoua.
