Peter Olayinka Happy To Extend His Contract With Slavia Prague

Slavia Prague of Czech Republic striker, Peter Olayinka has admitted he is happy to extend his stay in the East European country and hopes to achieve more with the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Speaking in the wake of his new deal in Pague, the Super Eagles’ fringe player revealed what he plans to do after signing dotted lines on a contract that will keep him at the current Czech champions until June 30, 2023. Olayinka, who previously turned out for KF Skënderbeu, FK Bylis Ballsh, SV Zulte Waregem and FK Dukla Prag, moved to Prague for a club record 3.2m euro in July 2018, following which the 25-year-old scored 17 goals for the side. His goals include an opening sizzler against FC Midtjylland of Denmark in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round, as he continued justifying his status with the club in 85 appearances across all competitions. The one-cap Super Eagles’ invitee went on to sign his latest deal shortly after scoring against Slovan Liberec in the Fortuna Liga, after which he stated on Prague’s official website: “I am happy that I could extend my contract in Slavia and that I can continue playing for the club. “It is very important to see that the club trusts me and that they want me to stay. It is pushing me forward. My first year here was quite difficult, but now I am enjoying myself and everything is going good. This season and the last one were both fantastic.”
