Plateau Defeat Bauchi In North-East Basketball Tournament Opener By Niyi Busari Plateau State basketball team defeated their Bauchi counterparts yesterday in the first match of the ongoing North-East Basketball Tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Plateau beat Bauchi 77-44 at the Indoor sports Hall Bauchi, State. The hosts presented two teams, while Bauchi 1 lost to Plateau, the second (Bauchi 2) on the other hand defeated Taraba 71-67 in the second match. Four games are lined up for today. The first game which dunks off at 9am involves Yobe and Adamawa while Plateau face off with Gombe in the second game of the match-day 2. Yobe will resume action again but this time against Taraba while Bauchi (2) trade tackles with Gombe in the third and fourth games. Bauchi (1) will play two consecutive games versus and Adamawa and Yobe respectively while Taraba versus Adamawa completes the match-day 2 actions.
