Plateau United thumps up Kwara fans for support.

The management of 2017 Nigeria Professional Football League Champions, Plateau United Football Club of Jos has commended Ilorin fans for the massive support they rendered the team during the match day three fixtures played at the Kwara Stadium, Ilorin Sunday.
General Manager of the Club, Pius Henwan said the support from the fans was vital to the victory recorded against Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri in their adopted home ground.
Henwan who spoke through the Media Officer of the Club, Albert Dakup noted the massive support makes them feel at home and assured that Plateau United will continue with their entertaining brand of football as a sign of appreciation for the support.
The General Manager explained that the massive support makes the team feel at home and appeal for more to enable the team emerge victorious in their next two games at the stadium.
Henwan specifically thank the Kwara State Football Association, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, Kwara State and other critical stakeholders in the state for the kind gesture and described Kwara people as hospitable.
It would be recalled that the League Management Company LMC banished Plateau United to the Kwara Stadium, Ilorin after irate fans attacked centre referee, Sam Agba during the match day one fixture against Ifeanyi Uba at the new Jos Stadium last Sunday.
