Poland 2019: Injured Oladoye Adewale Returns To Nigeria, Charges Flying Eagles To Go For Gold
Injured Oladoye Adewale returned back to Nigeria on Sunday from Flying Eagles camp in Germany and charges his team mates to go to Poland and win the trophy for the country, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Oladoye rued the knocks he sustained during Flying Eagles camping in Germany and hopeful to bounce back soon. He however, praised the coaching crews led by Paul Aigbogun for making sure the that the best players in camp were selected to represent the country at the World Cup. He opined that with the quality of the players and the technical bench, Nigeria is capable of winning the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.
"It is just unfortunate that injury cut short my dream of playing for the country at the U20 level but it is a small knock and will soon be back to field. With the quality of players coach Paul Aigbogun selected to the competition, i am confident that Nigeria will win the trophy." Adewale Oladoye told www.bsnsports.com.ng
The Water FC midfielder charges his team mates to play according to coach's instruction and go all the way to win the title for the first time.
"Flying Eagles will not only qualify from the group but will go to the final to win the elusive trophy for Nigeria."
Oladoye whose playing style is compared to Patrick Veira while he was with the Flying Eagles aimed at brighter future after injury denied him a place in the U20 World Cup team.
Flying Eagles will play their first group D match against Qatar on Friday, face USA on 27th May and slug it out with Ukraine in the last group game on 30th May, 2019.
