The Police in Bayelsa State say they have launched manhunt for the suspected kidnappers of the mother of former Super Eagles Coach and player, Samson Siasia.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Bayelsa State Police Command, Mr. Asinim Butswat who confirmed the incident to www.bsnsports.com.ng
correspondent said the unknown gunmen who were heavily armed came through the waterways of the River Nun at about 2am on Monday and invaded the residence of 80 year old Mrs Ogere Beauty Siasia, in the riverine village of Odoni, Sagbama Local Government Area, Bayelsa State and whisked her away to an unknown destination.

Family sources told Creek FM News in a telephone interview said the suspected kidnappers gained entrance to the house of the mother of the former National Under 23 team coach by breaking the back door to gain access into the building.
They said she did not take her blood pressure drugs, stating that they are yet to be contacts as the Matriarch of the Siasias would not remember any phone number of her relatives off hand.
This is the second time she will be abducted by unknown men.
In November 2015, Mrs. Siasia spent 13 days with kidnappers, who snatched her from her residence in Odoni community of Sagbama Local Council Area in Bayelsa State and released her after a ransom of about #600,000 was reportedly paid.
Siasia was then in Gambia preparing the Olympic Eagles for the Under-23 Africa qualifier for 2016 Rio Olympics at the time when his mother was whisked away by the kidnappers.
Kidnap activities have taken a spike around the Agbere and Odoni axis of Sagbama with many abductions of aged parents of high profile individuals and natives recorded in recent times.
