Portuguese Club Seek Alternative For Super Eagles Defender By Sampson Adedeji Former Portuguese Primera Liga champions, FC Porto have commenced the preparations for the league season in earnest and players are back for the preseason, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi who was instrumental to the team playing in the quarter final of UEFA Champions League last season has also resumed with the rest of the squad. The club is already seeking a capable replacement for the Nigeria international who will be absent between 9th of January to February 6th 2021. Nigeria's Super Eagles is among the countries that will be taking part in the delayed 2021 African Cup Of Nations slated for Cameroon. Sanusi is expected to be part of the team after playing a pivotal role in t e team qualification. The competition supposed to have come up in 2021 but was moved to 2022 due to the outbreak of Corona virus pandemic.
