Former Super Falcons goalkeeper and trainer Precious Dede has been appointed as goalkeeper trainer for India U17 national women team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dede was the goalkeeper trainer under ex-Super Falcons coach Thomas Dennerby who dumped the team few month back.

The appointment of Dede came few weeks after Dennerby was announced as the coach of the team.

FIFA has awarded the hosting rights of the women U17 World Cup for 2020 to India and the country football federation has commenced preparations in earnest.

Dede was capped 99 times by Nigeria and won two Africa Women’s Cup of Nations title with the Super Falcons.

The women U17 World Cup is slated for November 2nd to 21st 2020.
