Premier League: Lookman On Target In Fulham’s Draw Vs Sheffield United

Premier
Ademola Lookman ended a three-year Premier League goal drought in Fulham’s 1-1 draw against Sheffield United, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The forward arrived at Craven Cottage on a season-long loan from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig this summer and has been delivering impressive showings.

After 42 games and 160 goals, it looked like the first 0-0 of this unusual Premier League season was upon us when Aleksandar Mitrovic skied a penalty into the empty stand.

Then late drama took hold at Bramall Lane. First, Ademola Lookman scored a goal that was so individual, the Fulham winger might want to ask the authorities for the assist, too.

However, after VAR showed that Mitrovic had fouled Robinson, Sharp tucked away the resulting penalty with five minutes remaining. And to compound Mitrovic’s misery, the striker missed a chance to restore Fulham’s lead when he headed Lookman’s injury-time cross wide of the target.
