You Can Run But Can't Hide Forever, Okoye Tells Pinnick, Others

Chairman, Bimo Sporting Club, Mr. Chinedu Okoye has advised the Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick and other four NFF bigwigs to submit themselves to the Special Presidential Investigative Panel.

Okoye, a retired referee in Switzerland added that the indicted five NFF top officials can only run but they can not hide forever from the long hand of the law.

"The earlier they submit themselves to the Special Presidential Investigative Panel, the better for them because they can only run but cannot hide forever from the panel, Okoye told www.bsnsports.com.ng

"As good citizens they suppose to make themselves available before the panel and clear their names, running from pillar to post seeking for favours to circumvent the law will not work this time as they have passed the rubicon. He added

It would be recalled that www.bsnsports.com.ng reported that the Special Presidential Investigative Panel went to the Glasshouse (NFF headquarters) with warrant of arrest to fish out the NFF bigwigs after their failure to appear before the panel after three different invitations.

Basic Sports in Nigeria (BSN) gathered that Amaju Pinnick could not move freely hence, stayed at the Delta state government house when he was in the country last week.

We also gathered that Pinnick has left for England without visiting the the Presidential Panel after his brief stay in the country.

Presidential Investigative Panel has indicted five NFF top officials (Amaju Pinnick, 1st Vice President, Barr Seyi Akinwunmi, 2nd Vice-President, Shehu Dikko, NFF Secretary General, Dr Sanusi Mohammed and Ahmed Fresh Yusuf) after the body had carried out its investigation.
