PSG Interested In Signing Ndidi

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Leicester City and Nigeria midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi.
According to Julien Laurens of ESPN, the newly crowned Ligue 1 champions are monitoring the Leicester City FC’s Wilfred Ndidi.
The Nigeria international has been vital for the Foxes in their ascension in the Premier League table (currently third) but he doesn’t have all of the qualities that PSG’s sporting director is looking form.
According to Leonardo’s own words, he is looking for a midfielder but one that is tall and physically imposing. At 5’11” and 176 lbs., Ndidi doesn’t exactly fit the mold of an enforcer.
Ndidi won’t come cheap either. The 23-year-old is under contract with Leicester until 2024 and Laurens believes the club will demand €45-€50 million to let him go.
Other options PSG are reportedly interested in pursuing include Tiémoué Bakayoko and Thomas Partey.
Currently, Idrissa Gueye, Leandro Paredes, Ander Herrera, Marco Verratti, and even Marquinhos and Tanguy Kouassi play in the midfield for PSG. That’s a solid group but since Thiago Motta retired in 2018, the club has failed to replace what he brought to the middle of the park. Perhaps Ndidi is the perfect replacement for Motta.
