PSL: Akpeyi Out For Two Matches

After having a collision with the player of Bidvest Wits, in the South Africa premier league match played on Sunday, Nigeria's Super Eagles and Kaizerchief goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has been ruled out for two matches, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In a keenly contested encounter, Chiefs required a win to consolidate its position on the table but suffered a 1-0 defeat to Wits.

Bvuma replaced Akpeyi late in the first stanza and conceded the goal in the final minute of the match.

The club medical team on Monday evening confirmed how many matches former Chippa United goalkeeper will miss via club social media handle.

"Daniel Akpeyi suffered a concussion on Sunday against Wits. He is ruled out for the next two matches. The medical team will continue monitoring his recovery process", the club said.

Since joining the team Akpeyi has been one of the best performer for the club with his amazing performance.
