PSL: Akpeyi Rally Support For Underfire Itumeleng

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Kaizerchief FC goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi, has thrown his weight behind underfire teammate and South Africa international goalkeeper, Khune Itumeleng, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Itumeleng put up under par performance on Saturday as champion Mamelodi Sundown walloped the Amakhosi 3-0.
Akpeyi who remained the club first choice missed the game due to administrative issues.
Immediately after the match, the club supporters called for the head of Itumeleng and believe his below performance affected the team.
Akpeyi called the fans and supporters to respect and back Itumeleng who remained a legend of the club.
"We are just a pencil in the hands of soccer lovers,we are humans too..we wanna be love when we are down and not to start comparing us.
Lets support with real love knowing that we are fighting for one course. A legend we always be a legend and he deserves some respect," he stated.
Akpeyi is expected to be back in goal for the club in the next match days.
