Nigeria's Super Eagles and Kaizer Chiefs first choice goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi has recovered from the injury he sustained during an ABSA Premier league match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Warri Wolves goaltender suffered a concussion after having a head collision with the player of Bidvest Wits.

Akpeyi appreciate God for his speedy recovery while also extending his sincere appreciation to well wishers who contacted him after the incident.

" To pray is to be in constant fellowship with God,and to be sensitive to the spirit.I win all the time no matter what.

I feel so honored by everyone who showed concern and deep love for my recovery,I’m perfect beyond words now.God bless you all," he wrote.

Amakhosi ended up losing the game 1-0 but it's title hope was rekindle again after securing a win in the club last match.

It's left to be seen if Akpeyi will available for the last league match of the season.
