FIAN Chairman, Thomas Ayodele Tips Flying Eagles To Soar Over Qatar

Chairman, Football Intermediary Association of Nigeria, Thomas Ayodele has thrown his weight behind the Nigeria's U20 national to pick a win in their first match group match against Qatar, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
Ayodele opined that the Flying Eagles need to win the first group game to boost the confidence of the players as well as having a better chance of picking one of the group's second round ticket.

Ayodele who is optimistic of the Nigeria's U20 national team good outing in Poland urged Nigerians to drum support for the Flying Eagles in their quest to win the FIFA U20 World Cup for the first time.
In his words, "Going by the two countries record at the championship, there is no doubt that Nigeria has better record than Qatar. Therefore, Nigeria stand a better chance to defeat Qatar in their match on Thursday." He told www.bsnsports.com.ng
He warned Paul Aigbogun-led team no to underrate Qatar when they file out against them on Thursday.
"Though, on paper Nigeria is the favourite to win the encounter, however, football does not work that way sometime. Therefore, coach Aigbogun and his lads should not underrate the Asian team on Thursday. They should go all out to win the match."
Qatar surprisingly finished top of group A in their qualifiers and picked one of the Asian ticket at the U20 World Cup in Poland when they beat Thailand in the quarterfinals of U19 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in a 7-3 dramatic win (penalty shoot out match).
Nigeria versus Qatar match is slated for Thursday (tommorow) at 5:00 pm at the Stadium Miejsk Tychachi.
