Qatar 2022 Africa Playoffs: CAF To Introduce VAR Sampson Adedeji In order to guide against controversy in the matches, the African soccer governing body is already considering the introduction of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in the playoffs, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The second round of the qualifiers was characterised by controversies especially the games involving Black Stars of Ghana and Bafana Bafana of South Africa. Squirrels of Benin also lodged complaints against Leopard of Congo DR which led to several debates across the world. According to the report, the football body is already working on plans to make VAR available at every venue that will host the crucial matches. Nigeria's Super Eagles is among the 10 qualified countries that will slug it out for 5 places allocated to Africa. The playoffs are slated for March 21st to 29th, 2022.
