The qualifiers for the competition started almost two years ago and some countries have already secured their place in the Mundial. FIFA on Thursday announced the 1st of April, 2022 has the draw date and it will take place in Qatar. Africa has concluded their group qualifiers and 10 teams have picked the playoff tickets. The final qualifying rounds of the qualifier in Africa is slated for March and 5 qualified teams will join the rest of the qualified countries that will take part in the draw.
