Qatar 2022: FIFA Announces Draw Date, Venue For Qatar 2022 World Cup

As the qualifiers of the 2022 World cup gradually come to an end, the World soccer governing (FIFA) has announced the date of the final draw of the competition, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
Even though only few countries apart from the host Qatar, have qualified for the competition, many countries will secure their place in the tournament at the end of November, 2021.
The football body announced March 31st as the draw date and it will take place in the Doha venue of the 72nd FIFA Congress.
Qualifiers from Africa will have to wait till next year to secure their position as the qualifiers from the 10 groups will have to face each other in the playoffs to know representatives.
32 countries will play in the 2022 edition of the World Cup as FIFA is nursing the ambition of increasing the participating countries by 2026 World Cup.
