  Qatar 2022: FIFA Set To Increase Number Of Registered Players   Sampson Adedeji   Just like what happened at the just concluded 2021 African Cup of Nations, the World soccer governing body, FIFA, is set to increase the number of players to be registered by the qualified countries, BSNsports.com.ng can report.   Due to the impact of coronavirus, the Confederation of African Football increased the number of players registered by each participating country from 23 to 28.   According to the report emanating from the headquarters of FIFA in Zurich, the football body is set to increase the number of players from 23 to 26 players for the upcoming World cup in Qatar.   FIFA increased the number of registered players from each country to 23 in the 2022 World Cup Japan/Korea from 22 that took part in France 1998.   UEFA also allowed each country to register 26 players for the 2020 Euro Cup.
