Qatar 2022: Super Eagles Good Enough To Beat Ghana, Ighalo Reveals

Al Hilal striker Odion Ighalo is hopeful that the Super Eagles will qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Nigeria will squeal up against Ghana in Cape Coast Sports Stadium on March 25, with the second leg billed for the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29. The former AFCON top scorer believes the Eagles squad is sufficiently able to overcome the Black. "You know the contention between Nigeria and Ghana," Ighalo told ESPN. Ighalo said his confidence stemmed from the way the team played their AFCON group games in Cameroon. According to him, "What we need is to work on that; this hunger, this pursuing of the ball, these players expressing themselves. This team has potential. It's only for us to build from where we stopped because Nigerians will like to win all the time.
