Qatar 2022 WCQ: High Spirited Super Eagles Train Behind Closed Doors For Cape Verde By Omolagba Oluwayemi The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Monday evening at the Teslim Balogun Stadium held a closed door training session ahead of today's crucial World Cup qualifiers match against Cape Verde, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The team in its full strength which included Super Eagles returnee, Odion Jude Ighalo displayed the Naija born spirit during the training session with the enthusiastic players bumping into each in excitement. Head coach of the team, Gernot Rohr led the training session alongside his assistants. Also at the training was Salisu Yusuf who recently returned to the fold of the team's coaching crew. Former Nigerian international and Director of Technical Department NFF, Augustine Eguavoen was also present at the stadium. The training lasted for about an hour with Media men were allowed to watch the training for about 15 minutes but were asked to leave before the closed door session commenced. Odion Ighalo seems to be happy returning to the fold as he was seen actively involved in every of the sessions held. A point against Cape Verde is all Nigeria need to join the likes Morocco, Egypt and others who have booked their place in the final qualifying rounds of Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. The match will take place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos Tuesday at 5pm.
