Manager of the Scottish Premier League side Rangers, Steven Gerard has handed a warning to his players that will be involved in international duty to be watchful, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
Many players from the club including the duo of defender Leon Balogun and midfielder Joe Aribo are going to be involved for their various countries this weekend in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The champion on Sunday defeated Ross County 4-2 as they continue the chase to defend their title.
"For me, bread and butter are always with your club so they've been told to look after themselves.
"We wish them good luck, we wish them all the best but it's about Rangers. They need to come back in the best place and ready for a semi-final which will be a tough game, but one we're certainly looking forward to," he said.
Both Balogun and Aribo are expected to be in action when Super Eagles takes on Lone Stars of Liberia and Cape Verde in the matchday 5 and 6 of the qualifier.
