Qatar 2022 WC Playoff: CAF Announces Date For Draw

African soccer governing body (CAF) has announced the date for the Qatar 2022 World Cup playoffs round, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
After the gruelling group stage rounds, 10 teams (including Nigeria's Super Eagles) from 10 groups secured their places in the playoff rounds.
The executive arm of the football body held their meeting on Friday in Yaounde and announced January 22, 2022, as the date of the draw.
They picked Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon as the venue for the draw.
The qualified teams include Nigeria, Mali, Ghana, Morocco, Algeria, DR Congo, Cameroon, Egypt, Tunisia and Senegal.
After the playoff rounds which is slated for March, 2022, 5 teams will pick the 5 tickets allocated to the continent.
